Angela Taddei started with EFP
in September 2003 as a part-time decorator, assisting in the glazing
department. Angela jumped in with both feet and quickly became an important
part of the EFP team. She learned a lot about pottery and glazing
techniques in her first year in the studio, and began to work full time in
September 2004.
As Angela gained experience, she began designing glaze applications for
new pieces, including the Lotus Vase for
CERF. Not only is she creative, she has a logical mind and a lot
of common sense, which is put to good use when she helps out with
shipping and at shows.
Angela grew up in Ireland, the child of Italian emigrants. Her family ran
a fish-and-chips shop in Dublin. She moved to the U.S. as a teenager, and
has lived in Boston and California. She currently lives in the Madison
area with her husband Steve, a carpenter/sculptor, and her son, named,
appropriately, Clay! |

"Fate planted me at Ephraim where the people, high-quality pottery and
camaraderie cultivated the garden of my creativity, allowing me to grow
and bloom. I love it here." |
