Swing wide the gate and step into the orchard. Follow the fence with its twisting morning glories, past sunny forsythia and cheerful dandelions. Wander past the fuzzy catkins and inhale the apple blossoms’ sweet perfume. Down the hill and through the woods carpeted with trilliums, shaded irises mark the shoreline of the little creek where dragonflies play above the water. Breathe in the essence of spring.
