wonderful additions to the studio, and we are pleased that they decided to join us.

Down
on the Farm
So much for the drought predicted for us by the Farmers Almanac. Down in the Swamp would be a better title for this column. Its been raining steadily here on the farm for the past two months. Since the beginning of May, we havent gone more than three days without rain. We actually came within a few hundredths of an inch of setting a new record for the wettest May ever. Rivers have flooded their banks, and
many farm fields are under water. The fields look more like Asian rice paddies than
furrows of corn and soybeans. And with that much standing water, weve got a bumper
crop of very hungry mosquitoes!
