Collectors' Corner News flash! Every Ephraim Faience Pottery vase now bears the artist's signature in addition to the EFP mark. Because we know that most collectors of any kind of art seek out signed pieces, we have decided to begin signing our pottery. We hope that you will be pleased with the extra value this small change will add to your pottery over the years. EFP Announces First Group of Pottery to Be Retired EFP has selected its first gorup of potter to be retired. The group includes some of our oldest pieces: most date back to 1997, EFP's first year in business. Because very few of each design have been created, these pieces are highly collectible. The following pieces are being retired:
Each of these beautiful pieces will bear the artist's signature in addition to the EFP mark. When you purchase these limited edition pieces, you are investing in an art object of enduring beauty and value. These pieces will be retired on August 31, 1999. No more than 500 of each of these unique and beautiful pieces will be made, so please order early in order to avoid disappointment. Call us at 888-704-POTS by August 31 to place your order. After orders received by August 31 are filled, no more of these pieces will ever be made. Please note that order fulfillment times for these pieces will be longer; we estimate 4-8 weeks. We anticipate retiring more pottery later this year. Check future issues of News From Ephraim and ephraimpottery.com for updates. 1999 Show & Sale Calendar EFP displays and sells pottery, tile, and lamps at various shows and sales throughout the country. Shows offer our customers the opportunity to meet us and to see and touch pottery that they may have only seen in our catalog. Our pottery will be for sale at the following shows this year:
We hope that you will be able to join us at one or more of these events. We look forward to meeting you! Down on the Farm It's summer on the farm. In early June, it is humid and 90 degrees in the shade. The hum of the air conditioner blends with the low growl of the tractor plowing the field outside our window. Hopefully the bunnies that visit our doorstep every afternoon haven't been left homeless by the plow. It's Tuesday, and Kevin will be pitching horseshoes tonight. Scott is going fishing, and he'll haul in as many bass as he can before the mosquitoes get too fierce. Kristin's going home to do some gardening. We wish our customers a safe and enjoyable summer! |
