Along the Roadside |

Seen from the
highway they're a colorful blur, but slow down a bit and they begin to
take shape: daisies, clover, dandelions, chicory, thistles, Queen Anne's
Lace. The bright white and yellow play off the cool blue and purple,
dainty petals mixing with tough stalks and prickly spikes. Some call them
weeds, but we prefer to think of them as wildflowers. After all, how could
something so resilient and beautiful be called a weed? |
